Well after having the biggest power bill we have ever had I have successfully lowered my bill by almost 70%. I believe the high bill was due to all the christmas lights. I guess cutting and splitting all that wood paid off (I fell the trees I am burning in Hampton so thanks Amanda) Maybe I could open a power consumption clinic.

At the risk of sounding like a stick in the mud you should maybe think twice about posting your actual bill. You'd be surprised what a pimply faced cellar dweller with a computer and your billing info could possibly do. I'd hate to see you paying for some one's in door "tomato" garden.

Wow - your power is really expensive! I guess you got to have heating.
Funnily enough - right now, all the power companies in NZ have made record profits and the State owned one's are considering putting their prices up to be accountable to their shareholders - the governement punks (just as well there is competition and we can change if they do).
