Bridget Green's diary

Well it's Friday Mar. 9th. The skys were angry that day! We left Saint John in a major snow storm. Although driving in luxury (Catties Caddy) We only made it about half way until the alternator Froze up and would not charge the battery therefore killing it. We made it to the Wandlyn Inn, where we tried for 1 and 1/2 hours to find a cab crazy enough to take us the rest of the way (1h 45 min under normal conditions) to the airport. We finally did. It was pricey-- about 180 g's . Anyway here are some pictures of the trip before it actually began.

OK, I guess its up to the moose' to fill in the blanks. First of all Moose-Man and Nuc-man both told these young non listeners to take one of two 4 wheel drives to Halifax. Did they listen....NO...They took Grammy's daddy, now Nuc-Mans, and broke down in Amherst, NS, about 2 hours away from Halifax. Nozzle called Moose-Man and Moose-Chick in a total panic. He and his crew did try to find a drive for almost 2 hours, and just before they found the crazy taxi, Moose-Man and I were getting dressed at 1 am to go and get them and try to transport them to Halifax on time for thier flight. The last call I recieved from Nozzle, I knew right away they found someone. He lost the panic tone in his voice and had his jovial one back. I called him about half hour later to check on them and he said 'Yea were driving to Halifax with my buddy Mike' and everything is great.
Nuc-Man, Moose-Man, and myself went to check out the caddy on Sun. Nuc got in and the car started right up and away we went.

I knew that there would be more to this story than nozzle's original blog...We having a little giggle...however we completely understand that travel by air is stressful enough without hiccups like this one.
