Caaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Nothing like a little game of street shinny to cap off the day. This is a typical evening down on the porter-glen. After the shinny was done we decided to play a small game of touch. It takes more then that to bring down the nozzle.

Luke

Bad news man. I dont think we will be entering the guns and hoses charity classic. The Moose-Sissy does not think it is a good idea the day after you get here so he dropped off the team( I think he is afraid we will all laugh at him). Dont worry though I have a few golf days planned for ya at some really nice courses!

Hey Toomeys

Would Mark or Luke or both be interested in entering a texas scramble golf tournament with Dad and I on the 20th of Sept. It is the guns and hoses charity classic. I know you only get here on the 19th so if you think you guys would be to tired no problem. Let me know, I will enter us if you think it will work.

Wonka-mania

Thats right I play for keeps. It is what you see a 24 pack of tart-n-tinys. No I wont tell you where I found them but they are for sale 5$ a piece. For some reason you cannot buy them around here anymore. Mrs. Moose will attest to my infatuation with the little guys. Mrs. Nozzle is a god-send for finding them. She will be in my good books for at least 2 1/2 weeks now.

Swag

Can anyone guess what the Ol' N.B.L.C. (Beer Store) was giving away this week? I will give you a hint: it is not booze.

Pinner

Well Monday (yesterday) morning we were all supposed to go golfing and well ,what can I say, 2 of the 4 some pinned out. Jay-man wonder was nowhere to be found and that son of a milf-Mike was home in bed. Eric and I had fun nonetheless.

Yahoo

Last weekend the Fosterville Farrells came down for a visit and while they were here they went out for a spin on the jet boat. When I say spin I mean that literally. That is a picture of the Irving Pulp Mill from the falls look out. That night Steph head came over and stayed at the nozzle nest for a couple of nights and of course a few cold ones.

Life is good

Well the weather has sure been pretty hot the past couple weeks. The digital thermostat in the nozzle living room read 30 last tues. Mrs nozzle and I packed up and moved to the camp for a couple days. It was so hot when we got there that I had to get in the water with a life jacket and a rope tied to the boat and of course a cool one. Mrs. Nozzle was in the boat reading. On wednesday the Gallant clan came up for a day trip in the boat to gagetown. That is Mitchel the Kitchel jumping off a wharf we stopped at for a break and of course a cool one. Mitchel and I had a canon ball contest. We only had 4 legal moves to choose from: Canon ball, Belly flop, Can opener and of course the Johnny butt cracker. We have yet to tally the votes.

In squad we trust

Yesterday at 1800 hours the alert tone rang throughout all the fire stations to dispatch the final stand down for the now retired Captain Brian "Bogie" MacDonald. Bogie has worked almost 40 years and most of them he spent on the rescue. Bogie was and always will be the squad father.

nice day

Just a couple random pics from a day we had last Friday. First it started with the news people showing up. I have to start taking apointments now, and check out how green that grass is. Then 27 megs of ram and that son of a milf Mike along with Eric came over for a BBQ in the Nozzle perch then we all ended up in the garage for some brew. As you can see, we all drink beer down here, even the little ones!

wheeler time

Well here are a couple of pictures of us departing on our 3 day 4 wheeler adventure. This was us leaving our street and we are heading to Fosterville (about a 3 hour drive by car). We wanted to see if we could get from my driveway to Corey the corduroy kid's driveway in fosterville. Anyway we made it with no major misshaps and only got lost twice. We put over 300 km on the bikes which is alot when you are driving trails. As you can see Baby Logan is trying to line us all up for a picture.
