The SJFD hosted a big memorial parade last night to remember not only the firefighters that lost their lives on 9-11 but all firefighters who gave the ultimate sacrifice. we had over 300 firefighters from many different depts. I am a member of our colour party/honour guard. That is me with the US flag.

Porter Street Frisbee

Hey guys I am just testing to see if this worked. This was the Porter street invitational ultimate frisbee toss-off.

Group 3 looses another

Good ol' group 3 and their "urban renewal" program. This is the scene of an apartment that was lost the other night. Meanwhile engine 8 "the coverage truck" Sat back and ate popcorn listening to the radio. Better luck next time guys.

Caaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Nothing like a little game of street shinny to cap off the day. This is a typical evening down on the porter-glen. After the shinny was done we decided to play a small game of touch. It takes more then that to bring down the nozzle.

Bad news man. I dont think we will be entering the guns and hoses charity classic. The Moose-Sissy does not think it is a good idea the day after you get here so he dropped off the team( I think he is afraid we will all laugh at him). Dont worry though I have a few golf days planned for ya at some really nice courses!

Would Mark or Luke or both be interested in entering a texas scramble golf tournament with Dad and I on the 20th of Sept. It is the guns and hoses charity classic. I know you only get here on the 19th so if you think you guys would be to tired no problem. Let me know, I will enter us if you think it will work.

Wonka-mania

Thats right I play for keeps. It is what you see a 24 pack of tart-n-tinys. No I wont tell you where I found them but they are for sale 5$ a piece. For some reason you cannot buy them around here anymore. Mrs. Moose will attest to my infatuation with the little guys. Mrs. Nozzle is a god-send for finding them. She will be in my good books for at least 2 1/2 weeks now.

Can anyone guess what the Ol' N.B.L.C. (Beer Store) was giving away this week? I will give you a hint: it is not booze.

Geeze Brad this cake smells funny. Have a wiff and tell me what you smell. You have to get really close, closer, closer hahahahaha. Oldest trick in the book.

Pinner

Well Monday (yesterday) morning we were all supposed to go golfing and well ,what can I say, 2 of the 4 some pinned out. Jay-man wonder was nowhere to be found and that son of a milf-Mike was home in bed. Eric and I had fun nonetheless.
