Garden select

Garden update. Here we have broccoli, carrots, 6 different kinds of tomatoes, green pepper and cucumber. I was haveing some trouble with bugs eating the leaves so I sprayed them with insecticidal soap. Well it turned alot of my broccoli brown but they are finnally starting to green up again.

Sun

While we were in and around randolf we met up with Daddy Nozzle in-law "Capt. Marvel" and his bro doozer. Then came around the point by canoe. It was a hot day and I had to go for a cliff dive. Not to be confused with another kind of dive.

Does anyone know or seen this vandal so I can call the police. Mrs Nozzle and I went for a wheeler run

around randolf last weekend. We stopped for a beer at "the lighthouse" Pretty much and old stompin ground for any generation from the west side.

I wonder what we are all looking at? Oh yea it is Jayman-wonder mowing his lawn. Jay was over up on the nozzle perch for a BBQ and drinks when he just got the erge to leave and do some work. Way to go! Keep up the hard work!

Good Ol' Hali

Well here are a couple of pics from our week in halifax Shannon face had to go down for work so Mrs nozzle jay-man wonder and I tagged along for the trip. The group picture was taken on the patio of the split crow pub and then that is the patio outside our hotel room at the Marriott (used to be the Sheraton) hey Eric notice Thomas the tank boat in the background!

Burnt

Well dont tell the safety/standards guy but the nozzle may have gotten burned at the fire the other day. I was pulling some of the shingles down with a pike pole and a big chunk of burning wood hit me in the chin and went straight into my jacket and into my shirt. What are the odds? All I have to show for it now is a scar on my chest and a burnt uniform shirt. Anyway the whole thing was captured on camera. Here you can see the piece of wood falling for my face, then you can see the moose behind me as all the debris hit the ground then me acting like a little girl. Noticed the student from fire school in yellow reconsidering his career choice.

OT Fire

When the phone rings around 5:50 am and the phone reads fire. dept. you know what is going on. Well when I showed up to report for duty Ol' Moose man was my Lt. I guess they needed to call in the big guns to finish the job group 4 started. Here are a some pictures I came across from some of the local wildlife that was there watching. The OT crew reporting for duty at the fire, the OT crew putting the fire out and yes that is what you see, Ol' Moose with a hose line it does not happen much anymore but once in a while...

Rest in peace Terry

Well this is kind of a sad blog. We had a line of duty death last week when Terry Graham died of a heart attack. The full departmental funeral was yesterday. Here are some pictures that mrs. nozzle captured. That is me in the colour party with the american flag (I know I drew the short straw) Firefighters came from all over the country to attend (Edmonton, Calgary, Sault Ste Marie, Winnipeg, Toronto, NFLD, Halifax and of course all the departments from our province attended)
