Birthday 07

I have to work tonight on the big stick so Mrs Nozzle had birthday cake for me last night. I am not sure why People came over to eat some cake and have a beer in shifts? But they did. First shit was Mr. and Mrs. Moose, second shift was Mrs. Nozzle in-law and lil whispy head, Third and last shift was Jay-man and Shannon face. 27 megs of ram was the only one that overlapped all the shifts. Anyway thanks for the great cake Mrs Nozzle and thanks to everyone for all the great loot! Just when I thought all the festivities were over lil Kate-win from next door showed up with a little cake she made by her self in her "easy bake oven".

Anybody need a C-T scan?

Well as you al may or may not know it is my birthday today and it was my good friend Trent's birthday yesterday. We are both 24 years old now. Getting up there.

Thats right folks I finally kicked that disease I had "SAD" (seasonal affective disorder) What you are seeing in the picture is our front windows open. Although my lawn has a few weeks of rehab ahead of her, she'll come around. It has to be close to 10 outside today I think. I might have to drink a few brew and toast that old hag Mother Nature.

BRING ON THE PAIN MR. PATRICK

As many of you know Sat. night was St. Paddies day and you know what that means. A sick amount of green beer and green wine must be drank in his honour. We had people over here at the "Green" residence for some brewskies. What do ya know even the Moose-people showed upwith the fornicators. We ended up at our fav ol' watering hole O'Leary's around midnight. The next day we started to come around shortly after lunch. The Olsenaters, Mrs nozzle and I decided to go for a run on the wheelers. I guess when Mrs Nozzle said to stay to the right on that trail I should have listened. The Queen Bee fell into a sink hole under the snow and got stuck good thing Jay-man and the Green Hornet were there for the rescue. We were gone about 4 hours and had a blast.

Sat. morning was the start to a pretty sad day for Mrs. Nozzle and I! We had to be in the lobby by 7 am to catch a bus to the airport. Our plane did not leave until after noon. That made for a long sad wait in the Punta Cana airport as you can see. When we got back the fine people at Enterprise rent-a-car had a car all warmed up and waiting for us at the Halifax airport. I would love to do business with them in the future and I reccomend all of you do the same. We spent the night in Hali with our friends Steph and George (*Whore-hay). The boys next door were playing at the Split Crowe and the girls gave Jay-man and myself permission to go to the Casino until 12:30, well that turned out to be a good decision on Mrs. Nozzles behalf. After playing at a 10$ black-jack table for an hour or so I found myself in the green a little bit actually 420$. Jay-man did not finish too bad either, a close second at 110$. I wonder why Shannon face looks so tanned next to steph.

Well now we are into friday our last day in dominican. Everyone seemed to lay pretty low this day. I spent most of it lying on the beach with Mrs. Nozzle. Friday night we ate at the Mexican restaurant which was absolutely unbelieveable. Then we attended a fabulous Michael Jackson show in the resorts theatre that night. I am sure I did Canada proud when I finished that round of beers that was placed in front of me by accident. Even though we were hundreds of miles away we still managed to squeeze in a couple of poker games.

Well everyone I am going to go ahead and skip Wednesday. I do not know what really went on during the day, as I was out Blue Marlin fishing about 18 miles off shore. I will take you to Thursday. This was a big day for us: we were up and gone by 9 am. We all went on a Jeep Safari tour. These are some of the pictures we took during the day. The tour took us to a typical home in the jungle which you can see Scott (what a dufess) standing in the middle of the living room. Our tour guide is standing in front of the kitchen. From there we visited a coffee and chocolat plantation. Apparently the 2 trees grow together. They showed us how they made the 2 and then let us sample them right there off the tree. That is me holding the 2 sample cups: one with pure coffee and the other with pure chocolat. The little girl is standing in front of a typical Dominican elemantary school. And no that is not open liquor in the back of that truck while we were driving, Mom. The last picture is of Shannon holding her 7-up. She has not made blog fame yet so I thought I would give her a shot.

Tues. was the first real beach day. Poor Mrs. Nozzle had to get up around 6:30 am to reserve a "hut" on the beach so she could sit in the shade. I spent most of the morning in the medical clinic with a plugged ear, and fighting with my insurance company only to get ear drops that did absolutely nothing for me. This was also the day that Corey learned not to fall alseep in a lawn chair next to the pool. It was hilarious to watch his face as he hit the water even though all of our stuff paid the price as well. That is my disc-man (plays compact music discs for all you kids) drying out. It is too bad Jay-man missed all the fun that day, due to the "day of Jay". Apparently there was some good movies on. The other picture is of some babes I met while cruising the beach. But they were down there with there husbands.

Well I have to say that Monday was much the same as Sunday. We pretty much just sat around the pool bar again. Our bartender German (Herman) was great. Although most of us stayed in the pool and drank all day there were a few who walked down to the market to buy some trinkets. The prize for the most sunburned dufess goes to Paul. He is next to me in the picture. The other picture is of a ship wreck that was out front of our beach. We Kayaked out there one day and found out that it is over a mile out.

well that brings us into sunday. Sunday was pretty uneventful. This was the day that another 4 people from our group arrived. We bobbed in the ocean for about an hour after breakfast as we waited for the bars to open at 10. We decided to wait for our friends to arrive at the pool bar. I am not sure how we managed to all drink at the pool bar for about 4 hours and nobody got out to use the washroom? Anyway that was a long day of drinking. then we all gathered infront of the nozzle nest before we went for our reservations at the brazillion a-lacarte. I thought my fridge would be safe 3000 miles away from home but the can of mooselight that Jay-Man is drinking proves that wrong! The other picture is of the market about a 25 min. walk down the beach from our resort.

Ok now we are into Sat. I have to let everyone know I am now an official West-Jet employee. After being asked to sit in the emergency exit row and receiving the "course", I was part of the team, ready to jump into action at any second. After we arrived and checked in, it was straight to the pool bar for some or several or copious amounts of alcoholic beverages. And yes a couple of the girls got in the pool as well.

Well it's Friday Mar. 9th. The skys were angry that day! We left Saint John in a major snow storm. Although driving in luxury (Catties Caddy) We only made it about half way until the alternator Froze up and would not charge the battery therefore killing it. We made it to the Wandlyn Inn, where we tried for 1 and 1/2 hours to find a cab crazy enough to take us the rest of the way (1h 45 min under normal conditions) to the airport. We finally did. It was pricey-- about 180 g's . Anyway here are some pictures of the trip before it actually began.
